This made me very grateful for my tiny house ❤ We live in a 610 square foot home as a family of 4! Living room, kitchinette, 1 closet (for the whole house), a tiny bathroom (shower, no bath), the bedroom is only big enough for a queen bed & a crib, then the "second bedroom" fits a twin bed and a small clothing rack! We have a 2 yo and a 4 month old

I am trying to imagine carrying an infant up and down that ladder.

I call my teens on the phone and stay on the line until they appear before me. I use a light-hearted tone, make jokes, sing, etc.

I went to public school until I was in 9th, at which point I was diagnosed with cancer. Then I was in a program called homebound school, where I was still registered with the public school, but I didn't go in person because my health didn't allow it. Instead, a teacher picked up the schoolwork from my teachers and brought it to me at home when I wasn't in the hospital. After I was done with treatments, my health continued to suffer from the side effects of the treatments, so I was on intermittent homebound, where I could go to school in person when I was capable, but when I wasn't, it was brought to me. More and more side effects showed up and I fell further behind as my teachers failed to gather the work to send home to me. Eventually, I dropped out. After I had my son, I got my GED so I could homeschool him. My immune system can't handle the germs he would bring home from school and I have to have a GED to homeschool him in my state. I was offered a scholarship when I got my GED also, but the university I took the test at wasn't an online university and my immune system wouldn't have tolerated it.

I came across squash bugs while harvesting blackberries, no damage and no bugs were seen a few days later. None even on the cucumbers they just disappeared 😮

I'm looking forward to the younger science books from the TGAB. I've loved the units we've done so far, but have sort of felt like the little kids get left in the dust a little bit, which is fine, but it will be nice for them to have something a little more geared to them!
